Claudia Wheeler, DO
Medical Director
Dr. Claudia Wheeler is the Medical Director of DermaZenith. A native Rhode Islander, she is a graduate of Brown University and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a board-certified physiatrist. She completed her residency training at Harvard Medical School/ Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She has 20 years of experience with injectables. Patients appreciate her listening skills, enthusiasm, and empowerment in reaching their personal goals. It is her priority to reduce anxiety and help her patients feel comfortable during procedures by utilizing multiple modalities for pain relief.
Dr. Wheeler has a passion for optimizing the function of the body, mind, and spirit. The body has the ability to heal and transform itself when given the right stimulus. Dr. Wheeler lives and breathes this herself, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and protecting her skin from the elements. It is possible to turn back the clock back, for our bodies and our skin.
Dr. Wheeler is the proud mother of a teenage daughter and 2 Papillon puppies. She enjoys traveling, cooking, live music, exercising, and spending quality time with her family.
Oscar Guevara, RN
Nurse Manager
Oscar Guevara is both an RN from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston and a Biologist from the UdeA in Medellin, Colombia. Oscar migrated from Colombia after getting a job in research at one of the hospitals in the Boston area. After years of work in research, he decided to become an RN in order to be able to interact with patients and help them in a more direct manner. Fitness and health passionate, Oscar spends his free time reading, exercising, and spending time with his son.
Jessica Devine
MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C
Jessica Devine, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, FNP-C, is a graduate of Rivier University with 18 years of nursing experience and transitioned to the role of a Nurse Practitioner in 2022. Her interests include health optimization, wellness, longevity, menopause hormone, and weight management. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their health, wellness, and aesthetic goals at DermaZenith! She is dedicated to understanding your individual needs and providing a personalized patient experience, from IVs to weight loss and hormone replacement.
Jess is a family nurse practitioner with a background in renal and men’s health who joins us to expand our weight loss, wellness, and longevity service lines. Her passion for hormone optimization and IV infusions is truly an asset to our practice. Looking great on the outside requires cellular health on the inside!
Kristina Barbera
RN, LE
With more than 10 years of experience as an esthetician, Kristina brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to our team.
Kristina’s favorite treatment is a rejuvenating customized facial complete with massage and extractions. Not only is she a waxing expert, but when she’s not pampering our clients, you can find her hiking, soaking up the sun at the beach (wearing SPF of course), or practicing yoga.
Kristina’s passion for helping others was her stimulus for becoming a registered nurse.
Kristina is in the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Brittany Flanagan
LE, LMT
Brittany Flanagan, LE, LMT, joins DermaZenith as a medical esthetician and licensed massage therapist specializing in lymphatic drainage and therapeutic massage techniques for the face and body. Brittany has 17 years of experience as a medical esthetician.
She is a lover of ZO Skin Health! Her favorite products are Firming Serum & Soothing Hydromist. She loves the ZO Stimulator Peel for a quick pick-me-up with no downtime. She is a licensed massage therapist specializing in lymphatic drainage massage and therapeutic massage.

It is a must-try for anyone with TMJ, as it includes buccal massage. Her therapeutic massage style uses light to medium touch and can be customized to your individual needs.

Kathleen is a dedicated Permanent Make-Up (PMU) Artist who is passionate about enhancing natural beauty and boosting confidence. Having once struggled with her own brow insecurities, she deeply understands the importance of creating brows that feel authentic, timeless, and tailored to each individual’s features. She believes in avoiding overly drastic trends, instead designing classic shapes that complement and age gracefully with every client.
With a keen eye for artistry and precision, Kathleen specializes in creating natural-looking, beautifully enhanced eyebrows that leave clients feeling confident and radiant. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing the joy and transformation her clients experience when they see their results.
In addition to cosmetic PMU services, Kathleen also offers advanced paramedical tattooing, providing life-changing treatments such as 3D areola restoration, scar camouflage, and 3D belly button tattooing. Receptionist / Medical Assistant
Kate comes to us with many years of medical assistant experience. She was Dr. Wheeler’s medical assistant from 2008-2012. She is a Rhode Island native, a boy mom, a Disney fan, and a dedicated volunteer for PawsWatch Community Cat Center.
In her spare time, she enjoys working out, coffee dates and catching up with friends, and traveling to Disney. She is passionate about health, wellness, and ZO Skin Health.
